Suggestions for optimum viewing of this site

This site is tested with both Internet Explorer 5 and Netscape Navigator 4.5. Other browsers may not perform properly. Internet Explorer 5 is the preferred browser as it renders all items correctly. Netscape 4 comes real close except it incorrectly shows the wrong font in some tables and does not display color lines. Earlier versions of either may display fonts incorrectly. Very early versions (those that do not support tables) will show very poorly formatted pages.

Best viewed with a 65,000 color (16 bit) or higher display, with 24/32 bit (16 million colors) preferred. Some photographs may look quite bad if you are using 256 colors or less.

A 640x480 display resolution was decided as the minimum to view this site without horizontal scroll bars. Some pages will automatically adjust to the width of your display while others are limited to a 600 pixel width.

This site makes extensive use of tables to format data. Your browser MUST support tables to view this site properly.

Defunct Amusement Parks uses Client Side image maps. Client side image maps were chosen because they give a visual indication of when you are on an active link and where the link leads to. This greatly improves the usability for image maps of the United States and similar graphics. There are other alternatives for all the image maps located here. A full text index is also provided.

Your browser must support forms in order to use the request and submission forms. If your browser does not support forms, you can email us instead.

You should have the Verdana and Comic Sans fonts on your system. Arial or Helvetica are acceptable substitutes for Verdana, however, only Verdana will show this site as fully intended.

If you have the font size set differently than the default in your browser, the pages may format differently than intended. They are rendered for a medium font size.

This site does NOT use frames.
