FunlandFunland is one of those unique parks that are becoming so rare these days. A park where you know the owners care about the park and the customer. Even though Funland is a seaside park in a tourist area, they still manage to keep very fair prices. Tickets are $0.25 each and ride require 1 to 6 tickets. There are discounts for purchasing multiple tickets.

The park is clean, well kept and appears in excellent condition. OceanMaintenance is so good that it took over fifteen minutes to find a blown out light bulb. During my visit the staff was friendly and courteous with one game attendant even backing up so I could get a good photograph.

Funland is the only amusement park at Rehoboth Beach. Most of the rides and games are housed inside huge storm proof buildings, something really needed for a shore resort. Even the Haunted Mansion is inside it's own protective bunker. Because much of the park is indoors, they can still operate during poor weather.

Funland has a mix of kiddie rides and those for older teens and Firetrucksadults. Many ride open in the afternoon except for the Haunted Mansion which typically opens in the early evening. Rides for the little ones include a Carousel, Fire Trucks, Rockets and a Frog Hopper. TeacupsThe older ones will enjoy rides like the Chaos, Gravitron, Paratrooper and Sea Dragon. The Sea Dragon here is one of the better ones around swinging farther than most. The Haunted Mansion though is the top ride here.

The Haunted Mansion is one of those treasures that is simply irresistible. Haunted Mansion FrontEasily one of the best dark rides in the country, it takes several rides to see all that it has to offer. The living room alone has so many effects going on that you don't know which way to turn. Bat in Haunted MansionThis ride is truly a masterpiece and is well maintained and cared for by the park. Night rides are the best since your eyes are already accustomed to the dark.
