The Incredible Hulk Coaster

The above photo shows the Incredible Hulk Coaster and some of Marvel Super Hero IslandSM&© including the two Space Shot towers known as Doctor Doom's FearfallSM&©
The Incredible Hulk Coaster signThe Incredible Hulk CoasterSM&© was just one of the many incredible attractions built for the grand opening of Universal's new Island of Adventure theme park. As with all the other rides in the park, this one too is very unique.

This ride was built by B&M and is 125 feet high, but let the height fool you since it doesn't need a (traditional) lift hill to get up it's momentum.

When entering the ride, there is a nicely detailed queue leading up to the loading deck. You can choose a separate line for the front seat and are free to choose other seats as well. Once leaving the station, the ride moves slowly forward up the inline then suddenly blasts forward and ultimately shoots out toward the sky. this ingenious method of propulsion doesn't use exotic technology, just a lot of rubber tires and some amazing engineering.

The rest or the ride is pretty much B&M, fast, smooth and fun.

As the train comes out of the mist, it makes a quick loop and the heads toward the back half of the ride.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster station & rear of ride

Part of the queue area and the rear half of the ride. The station is shown partially on the left.

The rear of the ride features another loop and some fantastic lower lever trackage including one point that has some airtime in the rear of the train.

Most of this portion of the ride is inaccessible for photography.
