Lift Hill

Millennium Force is Cedar Point's latest world record breaking roller coaster which debuted in the spring of 2000. It has a 310 foot lift hill with a 300 foot, 80 degree first drop, it is the worlds first "Giga Coaster". It feels more like straight down. The ride attains 92+ miles per hour and is the fastest full circuit coaster in the US (as of summer 200 at least) and second fastest in the World. The lift hill uses a new elevator lift lift system which is quite fast and almost required for the very long lift hill. The lift hill is at 45 degrees which is steeper than the drops on some coasters. You are over the top before you expect it, staring almost straight down.

The trains use stadium style seating where the rear seats are set higher than the front seats for a better view. The trains are quite open and feel pretty much like someone just bolted a seat to the chassis. The restraints are comfortable. There are three trains, which can all operate on the circuit at once, one each of red, blue and yellow. Riders must be at least 54" tall to ride Millennium Force.

Millennium Force was built by Intamin.

you not to hold your hands up! Hmmmm.
