Racer
Kennywood Park - West Mifflin, PA

Note: The on-ride pictures below were taken with park permission and a park escort was provided during the on-ride photography session. Kennywood does not allow any photography on rides without permission from management.

The Racer at Night.

The Racer facade as rebuilt to resemble the original.

The lift hill is just ahead.

Don't Stand Up, a VERY important rule to follow.

The first drop. Note the Monongahela River in the background.

The first drop.

The first turn.

Looking back at the blue train....

....which has now caught up to the red train....

....which now has passed the red train.

The Racer really hugs the ground.

Heading toward the turn over the station, but one more drop and twist first.

Exiting the station high turn.

Note all the small twists in the ground hugging track.

Looking out through the structure. The Sky Coaster is in the background.

One last turn before heading back to the station.

And one last drop before heading back to the station as viewed from red train.

Same view from the blue train (which won both races during photography).

The station is just ahead. We will end up on the right side even though this ride started on the left side of the station. Such is a Mobius racing coaster design. The only one remaining in the United States.
