Waldameer Park and Water World is located on Lake Erie at the entrance to Presque Isle State Park. This is one of the few parks to have both a dark ride and a walk through attraction. Waldameer park should be commended for preserving these two great attractions.

The attractions at Waldameer cover a broad range from children to adults. Don't miss Water World, Waldameer's  water park.

The view from the Ferris Wheel is breathtaking as you can see Lake Erie, Erie and the State Park not to mention most of Waldameer Park itself.

New for 2000 is the Ravine Flyer 3, a steel family coaster. Ironically, it predates the Ravine Flyer 2. Several new shows are added for 2000.

Note: The Ravine Flyer II is due for the 2001 season and will be a wood coaster similar to the original Ravine Flyer at Waldameer.

The Comet  is a wood roller coaster designed by the legendary Herb Schmeck of the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. The coaster is set in a nicely wooded grove near the front of the park.

The Whacky Shack is one of several dark rides to be found in Pennsylvania. This ride was designed by Bill Tracey, one of the great dark ride masters. More information about this ride is available at Laff In The Dark.
